Continuing the design legacy of our original Absolute Series, these new drums combines the projection and expressive capability of all-maple shells with the beautiful grain of US maple inside and out, and are available at an economical price.
100% Maple Shells
All-maple shells give Tour Custom drums their warm, bright tone. These shells are designed with a 6 ply-5.6 mm / 45 degree bearing edge that adds the tonal depth, quick response and provides just the right amount of sustain.
Yamaha Enhanced Sustain System
YESS mounts are designed to minimize contact between the shell and the mount to deliver a wider dynamic range and longer sustain. Shell packs includes a triple mount tom holder.
Inverse Dyna Hoop (2.3mm)
Newly designed 2.3mm Inverse Dyna hoop controls the natural overtones inherent to all-maple drums and focuses the fundamental tone of the shell.
Absolute Lugs
Shells feature Yamaha's exclusive Absolute Lugs. Their sophisticated design adds a touch of class to the drums.
