The Seymour Duncan SLS-1 RWRP is a Lipstick Tube pickup for Strat® guitars. Recommended for country, pop, surf, rockabilly, blues and classic rock. Like the '50s originals, our lipsticks use Alnico 6 magnets and a special winding spec to bring out the jangle in your Strat. This pickup will produce a bright and jangly tone; plus the look is totally unique for a visually striking instrument. Recommended for the middle position. Often used with the SLS-1b Custom Bridge pickup and the SLS-1 neck pickup in a calibrated set. The RWRP pickup provides hum cancelling on positions 2 and 4 of a standard 5 way switch. For warmer toned ash, alder or basswood body instruments including hollow and semi-hollow bodies. Works especially well with rosewood fingerboards.
