The Meinl Byzance Foundry Reserve Collection offers a small selection of cymbals that have been equipped by our specialists in years of development with a variety of nuances and an exceptionally wide spectrum of sound. Made in traditional forging techniques, these individual pieces have a unique surface thanks to their one-of-a-child hammering. This hammer pattern, together with the turned top and bottom, creates a clear, dry stick response underneath a full, voluminous sound carpet.

Due to the very elaborate, traditional craftsmanship, these individual pieces are only available in a very small quantity. The powerful hammering and the completely turned surface give this hand-made ride its dry attack with a clear stick definition. This is complemented by a dark, warm and nuance rich sustain. Despite the clear stick definition, this ride cymbal is also ideal for crashed ride figures.
