The Chrome over Brass snare is a Gretsch classic. The 1.1mm brass shell is rolled, and then welded with a clean, durable seam. The entire shell (exterior and interior) is chrome plated and feature the classic Gretsch knurled pattern. The shells have a 40-degree bearing edge. Additional features include Lightning throw-off, top and bottom die-cast hoops, 'Snap-In' key holder and 42-Strand snare wire (20-strands on 13" snare).
