Epiphone Blues King Studio Acoustic Electric Guitar - Dark Burst

Epiphone Blues King Studio Acoustic Electric Guitar - Dark Burst

The Epiphone Blues King Studio is part of the all-new Epiphone Studio Acoustic Collection. These guitars have been completely reimagined to offer the most authentic and affordable acoustic guitars inspired by iconic Gibson designs. The Blues King Studio delivers a delightful blend of vintage charm and modern craftsmanship and was designed to deliver a soulful and resonant sound that’s perfect for blues and folk enthusiasts. Based on classic Gibson parlor acoustics, the Blues King Studio’s smaller parlor-sized body and shorter 24.75” scale length make it an excellent choice for a first guitar for younger players and a solid choice for smaller-statured players. Its bluesy tone is ideal for fingerstyle, blues, folk, Americana, and other traditional music styles.

The Blues King Studio has a layered, L-00-style mahogany body with single-ply cream binding on the top and back and a solid spruce top for a responsive, balanced tone with excellent dynamic range that sounds even better as it ages. The mahogany neck is attached to the body with a glued-in tapered dovetail neck-to-body joint and features a comfortable Rounded C profile. The neck is capped with a rosewood fretboard equipped with 19 standard frets and adorned with simple pearloid dot inlays. The other ends of the strings are routed over a compensated plastic saddle and are anchored to the rectangular rosewood bridge with ivory-colored bridge pins.

We also included other details that give the Blues King Studio even more vintage-style flair, including an L-00-shaped dark tortoise shell-colored pickguard, three-on-a-plate tuners with ivory-colored plastic buttons, and a 60s Kalamazoo-style headstock with the Epiphone logo proudly displayed in gold silkscreen. The Blues King Studio comes with Fishman electronics, including an S-Core under-saddle pickup and Fishman Presys VT preamp with soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls that deliver quick and easy access for the player while remaining all but invisible to the audience. A standard gig bag is also included.

A battery is not included. To power your pickup, you will need a 9-volt battery.
