The 2 independent mic preamps feature THAT Corporation technology to provide ultra clean and transparent recordings. Selectable variable impedance allows you to optimally match the 1972 to any microphone from budget to high-end mics, and also ribbon mics. The input features 12 stepped input gain settings and a variable output trim for fine tuning. Tone shaping features include LoCut, HiCut, and Shape. The unique Lift feature is a single switch solution to recording low signal levels. Each channel also features a VU meter with a +10db pad adjustment for hot output level metering.
