The SD8’s versatile design starts with 8 remote-controllable Midas-designed mic preamps and 8 servo-balanced XLR outputs, which deliver audiophile sound quality to your live presentations. The lightweight road-rugged all-steel enclosure sets up quickly and easily, and the rubber corner protectors help ensure worry-free placement anywhere on stage. Conveniently removable rack ears come in handy for semi-permanent and mobile applications. Klark Teknik's SuperMAC dual AES50 network ports allow daisy-chaining additional stage boxes for more inputs and outputs. Also included is a dual “Ultranet” port for direct connection to Behringer’s P16-M personal monitors and select Turbo sound speakers.
The great-sounding, affordable, and versatile SD8 can efficiently be utilized for remote I/O with the front-of-house console, monitors, mobile broadcast consoles, and other compatible digital destinations. For additional versatility, there are even two programmable High-Z inputs for “no D.I.” connectivity with guitars and a USB port for software updates.
